Job Description
Line Cook at The Langham, Boston. Maintains high standards in guest experience and colleague engagement. Prepares and cooks food items for consumption in all Food & Beverage outlets. Maintains a clean and well-organized work area. Adapts to changing demands as related to food and beverage operations.
Requirements
- General knowledge of culinary technique and application
- Personable and ability to communicate needs to all colleagues
- Ability to adapt to changing demands as related to food and beverage operations
- Food Safety: Abides by local and national food safety requirements
- Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a 4-5 star hotel or independent restaurant
- Banquet experience is desirable
- ServSafe certification desired
- Able to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Able to work up to 8 hours; the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
