Job Description
Provide telephonic remote interpreting for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in various settings, including medical, legal, and customer service, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to industry standards.
Requirements
- Full fluency in both English and Chuukese
- US or International Based
- Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word)
- Landline phone access for sound quality
- Quiet, secure, and noise-free interpreting space
- 2+ years of professional interpreting experience
- Industry specific certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
- Proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training (ex: Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.)
