Fur - Remote Telephonic Interpreters

LSA is seeking fluent English and Fur interpreters to provide telephone interpreting services for individuals in the Limited English Proficiency (LEP) community. Interpreters will handle calls and facilitate communication in various settings, including medical, legal, and customer service. The role emphasizes confidentiality, adherence to professional standards, and continuous learning through training.

Requirements

• Full fluency in English and Fur
• US or International based
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word)
• Landline phone access
• Quiet, secure, and free from noise workspace
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred
• 40+ hour medical interpreting training preferred
