Malaylam - Remote Telephonic Interpreters

As a telephonic interpreter for Malaylam, you will handle telephone calls on demand, facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient community in various settings. You will provide effective interpreting, answer inbound calls, and adhere to professional standards.

Requirements

• Full fluency in both English and Malaylam
• US or International Based
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word)
• Landline phone access for sound quality
• Interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience
• Industry specific certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
• Proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training (ex: Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.)
