Job Description
LSA is seeking a full-fluency in both English and Mandarin telephonic interpreter to provide effective language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community. Responsibilities include providing remote interpreting, answering inbound calls, ensuring excellent customer service, and adhering to professional conduct standards. LSA is passionate about helping people thrive in a global environment.
Requirements
- Full fluency in both English and Mandarin
- Technology proficiency (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word)
- Landline phone access for sound quality
- Quiet, secure interpreting space
- 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
- Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
- Proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training preferred
