Job Description
LSA is seeking fluent interpreters for Mandingo in their network of Independent Contracted Interpreters. The role involves handling telephone calls for the LEP community, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to strict professional guidelines. Candidates should be tech-savvy and comfortable with a quiet interpreting space.
Requirements
- Full fluency in both English and Mandingo
- Technology proficiency (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word)
- Landline phone access
- Quiet, secure interpreting space
- 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (preferred)
- Industry specific certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
- Medical interpreting training (40+ hours preferred)
