Job Description
Language World is seeking a native fluent Dari/Pashto Interpreter to convey messages effectively between English speakers and individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP). The role involves accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation of spoken and written communication, maintaining confidentiality, and using relevant medical terminology. The position requires adaptability and the ability to travel to various locations.
Requirements
- Native Fluency in English and Dari or Farsi
- Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills
- Experience using medical terminology
- Valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance
- Ability to travel to multiple locations
- Must pass pre-screening, background, and drug screenings
- Successful completion of work authorization verification
