LanguageLine Solutions is hiring Kapingamarangi-English phone interpreters to work from home, providing interpretation services to clients across various industries. The role involves handling calls on demand, rendering the meaning of conversations between Kapingamarangi and English speakers, and using appropriate terminology and understanding common industry procedures and practices. The interpreter must be fluent in Kapingamarangi and English, skilled in cultural dynamics, and able to work in a dynamic environment with high call volumes and sensitive subjects.

Requirements

• Fluency in Kapingamarangi and English and skilled in the associated cultural dynamics
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills
• Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, remain neutral and objective at all times
• Ability to adapt to any LLS technology enhancements
• High school diploma or equivalent
