Job Description
Lansing Building Products has supplied professional contractors with high-quality building products since its founding in 1955. A certified Great Place To Workâ„¢, Lansing has nearly 2,000 associates in 112 branches serving customers in 35 states. A CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
Requirements
- CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
- CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
- Have moffett forklift experience
- Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
- Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
- Experience with building products is very helpful
- Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
- At least one year of driving experience
- Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
