Job Description
The Lansing School District is hiring a Middle School Math Teacher to provide world-class instruction in math to middle and high school students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for and expertise in Algebra, Geometry, and other secondary math content, and be able to build inclusive and nurturing classrooms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or math
- Previous experience working with middle school and high school students
- Alignment with Lansing School District's mission and values
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with a secondary math endorsement (i.e. EQ, EX)
- Previous teaching experience in an urban setting
- Training in CRPBIS, Go Math, and other related instructional methodologies
