Job Description
The Lansing School District is seeking a Specialized Assistant to support the safety and success of students, particularly those with disabilities. This role involves building relationships with students and families, assisting teachers, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment within assigned school buildings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students, especially in one-on-one and small group settings, and demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate with staff and families.
Requirements
- Must have one of the following:
- Associate's Degree
- 60 completed college credits
- Proof of passing the ETS Paraprofessional Exam
