Piping Stress Engineer

LAPORTE is seeking a highly technical Piping Stress Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience to design piping systems, perform stress analysis, and support multidisciplinary engineering projects in various industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
• Membership in a Canadian engineering professional association (EIT or P.Eng)
• 3 to 8 years of experience in piping systems design and piping stress analysis
• Experience in pharma, biotechnological, industrial, food & beverage, or manufacturing environments (asset)
• Knowledge of relevant codes (ASME, CSA, NFPA, CGA)
• Knowledge of pressure vessels, and process and utility piping design
• Experience with piping stress software such as CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, ANSYS
• Ability to travel to client sites across Canada and the USA when required
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability
