RPG Designer

Larian Studios is seeking an RPG Designer to join the worldbuilding team and help craft high-quality role-playing games. The successful candidate will design narrative and gameplay content, ensure logical and well-paced narrative flow, and work closely with other departments to deliver a finished state.

Requirements

• Ability to take the lead of a creative element of the game, communicate with all parties involved, gather feedback, and sink their teeth into it until it's finished.
• Ability to come up with creative solutions to new problems or identify issues that don't require reinventing the wheel.
• Strong understanding of narrative beats and pacing.
• Ability to imagine what it's like seeing the game for the first time every single day and understand player expectations.
• Ability to observe players and learn from their actions and filter their feedback.
• High level of digital literacy and ability to adapt quickly to new software and tools.
• Attention to detail and comfortable with complexity and change.
• Great collaborator with excellent organization and communication skills.
• Comfortable in an agile environment with evolving needs.
