Job Description
The Post-Doctoral Researcher- LTE (Applied Water Quality Research) position involves conducting specialized research studies on raw and potable water, detecting and analyzing unregulated compounds and contaminants, and developing methods for their detection and removal. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in civil/environmental engineering, experience with oxidation processes, ozone, nanobubbles, and emerging contaminants, and excellent communication and writing skills.
Requirements
- Knowledge of physical, chemical, and biological drinking water treatment methods
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
- Experience planning and performing bench-, pilot-, and full scale water quality and treatment research
- Ability to generate innovative research ideas
