Asset & Wealth Management, Alternatives Capital Formation, Buyout Private Equity – Vice President, New York

Goldman Sachs Asset Management is seeking a Vice President to lead commercial strategy, capital formation & client engagement initiatives for the Capital Partners platform. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in private markets fundraising and investor relations, with excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a similar or related role
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in private markets fundraising and investor relations
• Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical and interpersonal skills
• Strong relationship building skills, for use with both clients and internal stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead global fundraising campaigns and manage existing investor relations
• Strong organizational skills and ability to help direct / manage production of a high volume of quality work across team within tight timeframes
• Attention to detail—proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy
• Willingness and desire to train and mentor junior members of team, as well as contribute to and foster a positive and motivating team environment
• Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated, demonstrating a willingness to take on more responsibility over time
