The Government Sanctions Group is seeking a Vice President to be based in Singapore, responsible for ensuring the firm's compliance with sanctions programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and other relevant authorities globally. The ideal candidate has at least three to five years of sanctions advisory experience at a global financial institution and strong written and oral communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Three to five years of sanctions-related experience in the financial services industry or relevant government agency/regulator
- Strong understanding of US OFAC as well as UK, EU and SG MAS sanctions regulations
- Ability to handle multiple priority projects at once and deliver consistently high-quality results
- Ability to be a self-starter and to ensure projects are followed through to completion
- Team oriented
- Proven experience in people management or team leadership within a compliance function, with a track record of developing junior talent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent research and analytical skills
