Chemist I

LATICRETE International is seeking a Chemist I to perform accurate formulation and analytical tests in accordance with Internal LATICRETE, ANSI, and ASTM procedures. The Chemist I will develop and conduct complex chemical studies and experiments on organic and/or inorganic formulations.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a Physical Science required, Chemistry is preferred
• MS in Physical Science or Chemistry a plus
• Experience in scientific lab is a plus
• Some familiarity with the process of researching patents, writing invention disclosures, and other publications within the industry
• Demonstrated analytical ability in a laboratory environment
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and present results in a clear concise manner
• Able to analyze data independently and apply some specialized knowledge
• Must be a self-starter and able to multi-task
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
