Job Description
Launch High School is hiring a Spanish teacher & interventionist to staff a founding high school option for students in Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching and/or leading in a school that uses project-based and competency-based learning, and be committed to equity and Launch's mission.
Requirements
- Design and deliver rigorous, student-centered Spanish instruction
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Provide targeted small-group and push-in language support
- Support the identification, assessment, and progress monitoring of students eligible for MLL/ELL services
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan instruction and engage in professional learning
- Lead a daily advisory and establish consistent classroom routines
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Contribute to a positive school culture and support a safe, respectful learning environment
