The CNC Milling Set-up/Operator will read blueprints and process sheets to determine machining requirements, load programs, and set up the machine. Requirements
- Reads travelers, process sheets, blueprints, specifications, and sketches to determine machining to be done.
- Loads program for repeat jobs and verifies the revision level.
- Selects, positions, and secures tools in tool holders.
- Notifies Floor Manager of job exceedance.
- Mounts fixture for work pieces.
- Sets-up machine and observes numerical displays and data on process sheet.
- Insists on quality inspection.
- Obtains quality inspector approval.
