Job Description
Join Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Antibody Engineering & Directed Evolution. Conduct high-impact multidisciplinary research, develop protein display-based technologies, and interact with AI/ML scientists and automation engineers. This is a two-year Postdoctoral appointment with the possibility of extension to a maximum of three years.
Requirements
- Design, construct, and characterize yeast surface display libraries
- Develop and optimize flow-cytometry binding assays and complementary characterization
- Implement and adapt directed-evolution workflows
- Collaborate with automation engineers and machine learning experts
- Present research progress and results to interdisciplinary team members
- Contribute to manuscript preparation, internal technical reports, and patent disclosures
