Job Description
Join Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Facility Electrical Design Engineer, System Manager. This role involves working on NIF and NIF support facilities, contributing to design and development of new system upgrades, and collaborating with a team of project managers, engineers, designers, and technicians. This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and experience with CAD tools, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and project management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- California certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience with CAD tools throughout the design lifecycle
- Experience performing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Comprehensive knowledge of standard project management practices
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
