Job Description
Join Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and contribute to the development of new and ongoing projects as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This role involves providing technical expertise in mechanical and electromechanical design, conducting research, and leading multidisciplinary project teams.
Requirements
- Active Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance or active Top Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at time of hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical design, significant experience in prototype development and testing, and ability to devise solutions for unique and complex problems.
- Ability to lead, manage, and mentor junior team members, and advanced communication skills with proven ability to present concepts and ideas in a clear and coherent manner.
