HGV Class 2 Hiab

Lawsons is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Hiab driver to join their Colney Heath branch to support deliveries, customer service and depot operations.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (essential) with current driver CPC.
• Proven experience operating vehicles with a Hiab/crane and handling building materials (essential).
• Good understanding of load security, manual handling and safe lifting techniques.
• Strong timekeeping and route planning skills, with the ability to meet delivery schedules reliably.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy depot environment.
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness and the ability to complete vehicle checks and paperwork accurately.
• Positive approach to health & safety, with a commitment to working safely and reporting hazards.
