Yard Operative

Lawsons is recruiting a Yard Operative to join their Ascot branch, a hands-on role responsible for receiving, storing and preparing goods, supporting the yard team, and delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a yard operative, warehouse or builders' merchant environment
• Forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) certification
• Good practical knowledge of manual handling and safe working practices
• Customer-focussed with strong communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work flexibly
• Basic IT literacy to use handheld devices and branch systems
