The Production Associate is responsible for the production department's daily operations related to packaging bulk flower and pre-rolls to complete as finished goods. They will work within a team to ensure product packaging KPI's are met under the direction of the production leadership and reports to the Production Manager.
Requirements
- Package accurately, by weight, all flower products offered by Lazy River Products (LRP).
- Accurate use of scales and balances to ensure the weight of products meet regulatory and LRP SOP requirements.
- Apply labels to product packaging accurately and neatly per LRP SOP.
- Actively engage in sanitation practices and ensure that tools, equipment, workstations, and work rooms maintain organization, and are regularly cleaned.
- Maintain department logs, forms, and records as instructed with clear and legible writing.
- Ability to learn complex tasks, processes, and develop professionally within the department's operational procedures.
- Perform quality control for products and product labels (information and proper application).
- Maintain professionalism and productive relationships within the department and company regardless of opinions, challenges, or conflict.
- Ability to follow and execute directives and/or directions provided by the department leadership or company leadership.
- Work in an efficient and productive manner, supporting colleagues, meeting or exceeding KPI's, and proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
- Wear LRP uniform and PPE, practice good hygiene, and follow all safe handling requirements while in production or handling products.
- Assist colleagues and leadership with department duties and tasks throughout the day.
- Assist with inventory audits for both products and consumables and communicate with leadership as supplies are utilized or running low requiring a re-order or re-stock.
- Perform duties and operate tools and equipment proficiently and safely.
- Ability to reliably perform standard mathematical equations pertaining to quantity, weights, and measures.

- Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal or company regulation requirements for working in the industry.
- Ability to pass a formal background check per Massachusetts regulatory requirement for agent registration.
- Ability to work 7:45 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch weekdays, weekends, and holidays if necessary for a total of 40hrs/week.
