Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer II provides engineering support to all manufacturing and assembly processes at L.B. Foster's Niles, Ohio facility. They also participate in product development and improvement activities and fulfill tasks related to customer order processing.
Requirements
- Support and evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling upgrades
- Specify, develop, and implement quality control processes, equipment, and tooling
- Troubleshoot technical issues with products
- Collaborate with other members of the engineering team
- Participate in new product development
- Lead efforts in building prototypes and running tests
- Provide recommendations to improve manufacturing efficiency
- Assist in order processing and review activities
- Develop work instructions, manuals, and other technical documentation
