Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Residential Child Care Worker to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a key member of the Residential Service, you will lead and support a team of Residential Childcare Workers in providing safe and nurturing environments for children in care.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in children's social care or residential settings
- QCF Level 4 or NVQ Level 3 or 4 in a relevant field
- Confident in leading shifts, mentoring staff and managing risk
- Understanding of children's legislation and safeguarding practices
