Job Description
The CT Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This position performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution or 2-year certification program in Radiologic Technology
- 1 year of CT/Diagnostic technology experience (CHNOLA LOCATION ONLY: 1 year to obtain CT Registry by ARRT)
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (CPR, BLS) - American Heart Association
- Radiography Certification (ARRT) - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Computerized Tomography Certification (ARRT (CT)) - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required within three years of start
- Radiology Technician (ARRT) - Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board Of Examiners
