Job Description
The LSBME Phlebotomist is responsible for performing venipuncture and skin puncture techniques to collect blood specimens from patients. The role involves transcribing laboratory orders, processing and transporting specimens, and adhering to department SOPs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider
- LSBME Phlebotomist License
