Job Description
Benefit Programs Specialist I/II is an entry-level position responsible for determining eligibility for social services government assistance programs, conducting interviews, and processing applications.
Requirements
- High school diploma supplemented with additional training and related work experience OR any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Some knowledge of basic human behavior, mathematics, and interviewing techniques
- Skill in operating a personal computer and office software
- Ability to communicate effectively, analyze information, and exercise sound judgment
