Family Services Specialist I

Clarke County Department of Social Services is seeking a Family Services Specialist I to provide case management services for permanency to children and families. The selected candidate will work with the Child & Family Services Unit, providing direct service work with families, children, and adults, and have the opportunity to provide a concentration on direct service work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or a related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Human Services area
• Valid Virginia Driver's License
• Knowledge of social work principles and practices, human behavior, and motivational theory
• Skill in operating a personal computer with associated software
