Job Description
Mathematics Teacher responsible for planning and delivering rigorous instruction to students, ensuring accelerated academic gains and measurable progress. The position requires a valid California Teaching Credential and experience in instructional programs and methods that differentiate and accelerate student learning.
Requirements
- Teach classes as assigned
- Utilize effective and research-based academic assessment strategies
- Collect and analyze student data results consistently
- Participate in IEP meetings as assigned
- Practice identity-safe, culturally-relevant pedagogy
- Provide students with regular constructive feedback
- Plan units, lessons, and formative assessments
- Compile and maintain records
- Develop positive relationships with school community
- Contribute to the cultivation of strong professional learning communities
