Job Description
Lear For You is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team at the Lear ASI Automation Division in Comstock Park, Michigan. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
Requirements
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines or advanced machining centers (Haas VF6 preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD/CAM outputs
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Knowledge of automation systems and robotics integration
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMMs)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others, and have a positive attitude
