Lear Corporation is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints, working with tight tolerances, and collaborating with engineering and other teams to bring complex designs to life.
Requirements
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines or advanced machining centers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD/CAM outputs
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Knowledge of automation systems and robotics integration
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments
- Understanding of tooling selection, setup, and optimization for different materials
- Experience with machine offsets, tool changes, and fixture setup
- Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and machining parameters for metals, plastics, and composites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others, and have a positive attitude
