This position is responsible for the electrical build and modification of custom automation systems, working with engineering through each stage of the process - design, build, install, debug, and customer handoff.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of comprehensive experience
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency to read and comprehend engineered drawings, schematics, and control standards
- Broad knowledge of systems ranging from 120VAC to 575VAC, 24VDC, and 4-20mA.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Quality wire management
- Proper wire tagging procedure
- Field wiring standards
- Ability to work on a team to support fabrication and installation teams
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
- Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines
- Computer skills – basic email, spreadsheet input, accessing folders, etc.
- Understand and communicate applicable safety standards: general industry (OSHA 1910), machine guarding, robot safety (ANSI/RIA 15.06), automated vehicles, conveyor safety, NEC codes, and UL and CSA labeling.
