Plastic Injection Molding Engineer

We are seeking a Plastics Engineer to join our Molding team in Traverse City, MI. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in injection molding and a degree in mechanical engineering or plastics technology. The role involves leading process technicians, developing standards, and communicating with vendors and customers.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in Injection molding
• Degree in related mechanical engineering or plastics technology
• Desire to work in hands on environment
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Knowledge of engineering materials, inclusive of molds, resin types, and molding best practices
• Experience in part design and tool design for injection molding.
• Experience with mechanical drawings and CAD software.
