Job Description
Lear Corporation is seeking a Senior Connector Engineer to manage the development of 3D models, 2D prints, and library releases of connector systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in connection system product development, design attributes, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience with connection system product development, including design attributes and industry standards and specifications
- Ability to use CATIA, Solidworks or UG
- Knowledge of part design for progressive die and injection molding
- Self-motivated communicator
- Able to work within a diverse global team with varying levels of experience.
- Lead a team of designers and lab technicians to the desired project design goals.
- Able to follow APQP processes for project documentation
