Financial Controller

LearnUpon is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team. The role is a hybrid position, working 3 days per week from the Dublin office. The Financial Controller will lead the day-to-day operations of the financial and accounting operations of the company, overseeing the monthly close process, managing finance and accounting operations, and ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance and filings.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with experience managing teams working in a fast-growing finance/accounting leadership role
• Strong understanding of Irish GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Familiarity with tax compliance, filings, and local regulatory requirements
• Solid experience in business operations and ability to set up systems and processes to ensure effective internal controls and accounting procedures
• Results orientated with a keen focus on agility and capable of pivoting based on changing business needs
• Passion for managing and developing teams
