Job Description
Plater II at LECO, a family-owned company in St. Joseph, Michigan, responsible for plating process knowledge, operating automatic hand hoist or riding hoist, and performing bath analysis and tank maintenance.
Requirements
- Handling of chemicals and or hazardous waste
- Wear proper PPE when making chemical adds or new bath make-up
- Chemistry background
- Knowledge of AA (Atomic Absorption)
- Mathematical aptitude
- Operate Lab equipment
- Basic Quality Skills (LECO instructed)
- Right-To-Know Training
- Cyanide Training (LECO instructed)
- Operate a Forklift Truck and obtain LECO forklift license.
- Blueprint Reading (LECO instructed)
- Safe Operation Training of Riding Hoist, semi-automatic hoist (LECO instructed)
- Pre-Plate Surface Finishing “on the job training and safety in handling” of Orbital Air Sander
