Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team supporting mining operations. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty mining equipment, with a focus on Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu machinery. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in equipment maintenance and be ready to take on more responsibility in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Requirements
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy mining equipment
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and safety inspections
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate equipment status
- Collaborate with other mechanics and site personnel to prioritize repairs and minimize equipment downtime
- Hold MSHA Part 48 certification for metal/nonmetal mining
