We are hiring a Payroll Systems Lead to join our Corporate/Shared Services team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll and Time Capture and collaborating closely with the Payroll Manager, you will lead a team of payroll systems administrators and play a key role in the ongoing improvement of JDE HCM/Payroll software solutions that touch every part of Ledcor’s business.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar payroll systems role
- Minimum 4 years of ERP payroll system experience; strong preference for JDE in-house payroll in a high-volume, multi-company environment
- College, Trade, or Technical Diploma (2-year) in Payroll, Accounting, or IT; JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience required
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation preferred
- Expert-level technical skills in MS Excel (advanced formulas, data manipulation, macros)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with particular attention to quality, detail, and follow-through
- Sound understanding of government legislation, collective agreements, and their effect on payroll
- Inquisitive nature with the ability to challenge the status quo in a manner that promotes teamwork while embracing the need for change
- Excellent customer service orientation and strong ability to collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Proven team player with the ability to work independently
