Permitting Specialist

We're searching for a proactive, detail-driven Permit Specialist to champion our long-haul telecom projects. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of permitting activities, preparing and submitting accurate permit packages, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Requirements

• Two to five years of permitting or regulatory compliance experience, ideally in telecom, power, gas, construction, or other utility projects
• Proven ability to prepare and submit permit packages for approval
• Knowledge of zoning, building codes, ordinances, permitting procedures, and local regulations; DOT/Federal/County
• Understanding of outside plant design principles, work order processes, and telecom standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and engineering plans
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and scheduling tools; Quick Base experience a plus
• Skilled in researching and applying regulatory updates
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; confident interacting with stakeholders
• Responsive to client needs and capable of handling typical project requests
