Project Accountant will ensure accurate and timely entry and reporting of financial data, manage accounts receivable, subcontractor payments, payroll processing, equipment time tracking, and accounts payable. Collaborate with management and project teams to guarantee data accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- Implement and manage effective project cost control systems
- Interpret and communicate contractual and commercial terms
- Deliver accurate cost reporting and strategic financial insights to leadership
- Support collective agreement development and execution
- Coordinate invoicing documentation
- Prepare and submit LEM reports, progress billings, invoices, and holdback releases
- Validate third-party invoices and reconcile electronic billing with client systems
- Monitor equipment usage, rental agreements, subcontractors, and ensure contractual compliance
- Support project managers with change orders, payroll coordination, payment resolution, and month-end journal entries
