You are an experienced Power Line Construction Superintendent in the province of Alberta responsible for day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, above quality requirements, on time, and within budget.
Requirements
- Journeyman Power Line Technician certification
- 10+ years of transmission power line construction experience
- 5+ years of experience working on industrial facilities projects
- Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures
- Solid understanding of current distribution power line construction practices
- Facilitation and mentoring skills
- Proven ability to guide safe work practices in a high-pressure environment
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, contracts, costs, and budgets
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Clean drivers abstract
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
