SY2627 Dean of Instruction (DOI)

The Dean of Instruction is responsible for driving the academic outcomes of the school, monitoring the quality of instruction, and creating a collaborative professional learning environment. The role involves building trusting relationships with teachers, influencing and inspiring their team, and supporting the Principal's plan for execution of the dual language model.

Requirements

• Teacher certification in bilingual education or related field
• Master's degree in education preferred
• Minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience with track record of demonstrated student achievement
• School administrative or charter school leadership experience preferred
• Experience in a dual language setting preferred
• Must be completely fluent in both English & Spanish (speaking, reading, writing & listening)
