Eligibility Specialist Bilingual - Sharpstown

As an Eligibility Specialist Bilingual, you will be responsible for guiding applicants through the process of obtaining third-party reimbursement and ensuring that every individual has access to the healthcare they deserve. Your role is pivotal in admitting new patients into our health services, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. You will conduct eligibility assessments, verify client information, and register clients into our system. This role requires a high school diploma, some medical knowledge, and a minimum of 3-5 years of medical billing experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• some medical knowledge
• A minimum of 3-5 years of medical billing experience
• Some training or background in ICD-A / CPT codes
• Ability to understand and practice bookkeeping and accounting terminology
• Ability to operate computers and other office machines
• Must be able to take responsibility and work under pressure
• Bilingual preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices preferred
