Dean of Students 2026-2027 School Year

Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a Dean of Students to promote the educational and social well-being of every student, oversee student discipline and behavior management, and foster a unified vision for the school community.

Requirements

• Handles behavioral issues, maintains discipline records, and communicates with parents regarding student conduct.
• Implements and enforces school-wide behavioral expectations in collaboration with teachers and staff.
• Ensures accurate documentation of discipline incidents and assists with compliance and reporting tasks.
• Monitors and addresses student attendance issues to improve engagement and reduce chronic absenteeism.
• Supports new teachers with mentorship and professional development resources.
• Develops and implements training programs for non-instructional support staff, including lunch and recess monitors.
• Addresses parent concerns and serves as a liaison between families and the school.
• Serves as the McKinney-Vento Coordinator, supporting homeless and displaced students by connecting them with necessary resources.
