Legacy Vacation Resorts is a certified B Corp hospitality management company seeking an Assistant Controller to support the creation and implementation of corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls for vacation ownership and hospitality.
Requirements
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Create financial statements for upper management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Assist Financial Managers with budgeting
- Ensure all accounting practices are in compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles
- Assist with billing and tax documentation preparation
- Work with the company financial team to create internal controls and policies
- Identify solutions to discrepancies in financial records
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
- Assist with preparation for audits
- Create ad-hoc reporting as needed
