Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and physical structures in the hotel and restaurant, ensuring proper functioning of all systems, maintaining a safe environment, and helping achieve budget goals.

Requirements

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures, including electrical systems and plumbing.
• Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on Life Safety Systems and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain and repair hotel aesthetics (painting, furniture maintenance, etc.).
• Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program, ensuring quarterly inspections and proper documentation.
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose issues.
• Perform welding, installation of pipe systems, and repairs of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from housekeeping and guest requests.
• Perform regular checks of emergency lighting, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment.
• Maintain a daily maintenance log and ensure all work is documented.
