Intake Attorney - Housing

Legal Aid Chicago seeks two full-time Intake Attorneys for our Housing Practice Group (HPG). The position involves interviewing tenants in eviction court, issue-spotting, and providing legal advice and brief services.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and licensure to practice law in Illinois or another state
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Highly developed organizational skills and great client counseling skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural situations
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently as part of a team
